A beautifully sunny Saturday on 29 July 2023 was perfect for organizers of the event Celebration of harvest and dance in Domanjševci. A hot and sunny day, as it is supposed to be for the harvest. Our model farm made an additional effort to be present at this traditional event. As this is a large event that lasts the whole day, the model farm prepared special content for the participation. We invited two guests; local winegrower Rudi Svetec, Svetec Winery, and the renowned chef Bine Volčič. At the event, we occupied a space under the trellises and close to a field where the locals from the village grow corn and wheat, with a lavender plantation around the field. Svetec Winery offered wine tasting of their local “jurka” wine. Visitors could taste the wine in special, stalk-shaped glasses of the model farm. Our model farms also owns a mobile dishwasher on a trailer. The right location and the right content of our originality at the event were the reason that we presented this special trailer to the visitors. The stalk-shaped glasses from the model farm were quickly washed and the tasting continued without interruptions.

Bine Volčič prepared two very special dishes for the visitors; corn polenta with herbs and porcini in sauce and panna cotta with lavender, buckwheat groats and apricot. Our presence at the event included rich content. The visitors had generously accepted us. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
