The program area extending from Pince to Hodoš is characterized by a highly developed wine-growing sector. It is very important for our farm to cooperate with all the wine-growing associations in the area. In addition to several clusters of professional training executed in 2023, we also organized a field trip to Hungary on the 10th of September 2023. The host was the Dobosi Birtokközpont winery, which has been producing organically certified wine since 2000 (almost 25 years!) and is one of the most important organic wineries on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. Family-managed property cultivates 25 hectares of vineyards according to the ecological and biological method. During their visit to the property, the participants took part in professional training on a case of well-established practice production and processing of biological and ecological wine. During training, there was also wine tasting, tour of the wine cellar, processing facilities, and tour of the vineyard. Since the biological and ecological method of wine production is not quite developed in our region yet, the participants took great interest in asking questions. The debate was especially lively in the vineyard because the production of tasty and high-quality wine starts with the right approach to the grapevine.
