Did you know that Mangalica, also known as “Mangalitsa” or “Mangalitza,” is a special breed of pigs from Hungary?
Mangalica is renowned for its unique appearance and high-quality meat. It is distinguished by its characteristic curly coat, similar to sheep’s wool, which can come in various colors, most commonly red, black, or white. These pigs are of medium size, with adults reaching weights between 150 and 200 kilograms.

Due to its temperament, it is popular among breeders. In addition to its curly coat, which sets it apart from other pig breeds, its meat is of very high quality and rich in fat, contributing to an exceptional taste. Mangalica adapts very well to outdoor life and is resilient to diseases.
